History

Ferndale Table Tennis club was first established as a TTk Greenhouse academy in 2007. The academy was overseen by Welsh International player Stephen Gertsen he was at the academy for 3 and a half years and had great success during his time here. Then ex-Scottish Junior International player Scott Johnston who was assistant coach at old TTk school Tonypandy and had previously helped Stephen with his coaching duties at Ferndale took over. Scott was in the position for a year. Scott moved on but the club has again managed to get a new coach who is going to continue to allow the club to grow. Gwyn Carvill from Bridgend TT club has now taken over at the school and will hopefully use his knowledge of the game and links within welsh table tennis to help the club go from strength to strength.

Return to Training

E3 sessions have started again in Ferndale with them running four days a week. The only E3 after session that is not running is on a Tuesday as it is Community night 5-7. The sessions for E3 will run from 3:15-5:15 on Monday in the Barn, Wednesday in Lower Hall, Thursday in Barn and Friday in Lower Hall. Hope to see you all in the sessions.
