History
Ferndale Table Tennis club was first established as a TTk Greenhouse academy in 2007. The academy was overseen by Welsh International player Stephen Gertsen he was at the academy for 3 and a half years and had great success during his time here. Then ex-Scottish Junior International player Scott Johnston who was assistant coach at old TTk school Tonypandy and had previously helped Stephen with his coaching duties at Ferndale took over. Scott was in the position for a year. Scott moved on but the club has again managed to get a new coach who is going to continue to allow the club to grow. Gwyn Carvill from Bridgend TT club has now taken over at the school and will hopefully use his knowledge of the game and links within welsh table tennis to help the club go from strength to strength.

Community Club Change
The Ferndale Community Club will not be runnning on Tuesday the 4th of October as there has been confusion with hall bookings. This means that starting from the week beginning 10th of October the Community Club will change from a Tuesday evening to a Wednesday evening with the usual time of 5:00-7:00. To allow this change to happen the E3 session on a Wednesday will now be moved to Tuesday and no E3 session will run on a Wednesday.
